We've put the Cambio API and a working demo online!

Development goes on

2008-10-7
While time goes by, so goes Cambio development. Things are getting closer to a first preview release, based on which we'll try to get to a first public beta.
Today, we added another new module: breadcrumbs, improved the switchlang module and checked in some security improvements and a few general bugfixes. Check it out on SVN, cheers!

(Psst.. check out the very first tutorial!)

New features in Cambio 0.5 beta

2008-10-3
We are working on some new features for the upcoming 0.5 beta release, and we are improving existing features and modules.

  1. Cambio 0.5 will have the option to serve pure XHTML to browsers which accept the application/xhtml+xml MIME type.
  2. Two new modules are in development: sIFR (see http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/sifr) and dynamic. The first is for generating Flash-powered text in a custom (embedded) font, the latter is for displaying dynamic content, such as catalogues, blog entries, and so on.
  3. Another feature recently completed is support for standard-compliant sitemaps (see www.sitemaps.org) to use in i.e. Google Webmaster Tools.
